Holding
The court allowed the petitioner's application for regular bail.
Summary
Ram Roop Bhagat, the petitioner, was in custody for a murder case (PS Haspura Case No. 306 of 2025) under sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The prosecution alleged that he, as the father‑in‑law of the deceased, participated in the killing. The petitioner pleaded innocence and argued that the deceased's mother had committed suicide after a family dispute, a claim supported by the deceased's daughter. After hearing both sides, the court examined the circumstances and found no compelling reason to deny bail. Consequently, the court granted regular bail on the condition of a Rs.10,000 bond with two sureties.
