The Court granted bail to the petitioner on the condition of a bond and sureties.

Summary

Petitioner Ravi Paswan sought bail in a case registered under multiple sections of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, alleging that he was falsely implicated while the real alleged offender, Karu Paswan, brandished a pistol and fired in the air. The petitioner claimed innocence, stating that the FIR primarily targets Karu Paswan and that earlier cases against him were filed by the informant. He has been in judicial custody since 25 September 2025. The State opposed the bail application, citing the seriousness of the offences. After hearing both sides, the Court decided to grant bail on the condition of a Rs.10,000 bond with two sureties, directing the petitioner to appear before the CJM, Nalanda.
