Summary

The petitioner, Nitish Kumar, filed a petition seeking modification of an earlier order that required him to surrender and furnish a bail bond. He requested an extension of the surrender period, citing personal reasons. The High Court considered the request and, subject to a condition of depositing Rs.5,000 with the District Legal Services Authority, granted an additional eight weeks for surrender and bail bond submission.
