Holding
The court granted regular bail to the petitioner.
Summary
The petitioner, Rajo Sada, was accused of murdering his sister-in-law Pusho Devi by hanging, alleged under sections 80 and 3(5) of the BNS. He claimed innocence, stating he was employed in a toy factory in Haryana and was not present at the time of the incident, and that the main accusation was against the deceased's husband. The State opposed his request for regular bail. The court examined the nature of the allegations, the petitioner’s alibi, and the lack of specific evidence linking him to the crime. Considering these circumstances, the court decided to grant regular bail, directing the petitioner to furnish a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties of the same amount. The order was pronounced by Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey.
