The order dated 20‑04‑2026 stands modified to correct the village name of petitioner No. 2, with the remainder of the order remaining intact.

Summary

The petitioners Bhushan Yadav and Pankaj Yadav filed a petition before the Patna High Court seeking correction of a clerical mistake in the order dated 20‑04‑2026, where Pankaj Yadav’s village was incorrectly recorded as “Itabandh” instead of “Islamnagar”. The issue before the court was whether the order could be amended to reflect the correct village name without altering any substantive part of the order. The court examined the nature of the error and held that it was purely clerical and could be rectified by a modest amendment. Accordingly, the court modified the earlier order to read “Islamnagar” for petitioner No. 2 while leaving the rest of the order unchanged. The petition was thereby disposed of by the correction.
