BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The Court allowed the application for regular bail, subject to specified conditions.

Summary

The petitioner, Ritesh Yadav, was arrested in connection with a case registered under Sections 25(1‑b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act after live cartridges and a country‑made pistol were recovered from his possession. He applied for regular bail, claiming innocence, and had been in custody since 17‑Oct‑2025. The State opposed the bail application. The Court examined the facts, the nature of the offence and the material recovered, and concluded that bail could be granted. Accordingly, the Court ordered his release on a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, subject to conditions of regular police‑station attendance, trial cooperation, and a close relative as one bailor.
