The court dismissed the regular bail application.
Summary
Anjay Kumar Singh was arrested in connection with a case registered under Sections 25(9), 25(1‑B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act after a police raid recovered pistols, rifles, a double‑barrel gun, a carbine with magazines, live cartridges and mobile phones from his residence. He had been in custody since 25‑11‑2025 and applied for regular bail. The prosecution highlighted the seizure of illegal arms as a serious factor against granting bail. The Court, after hearing the parties, found the presence of illegal weapons sufficient to deny bail. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed.
