The court allowed the application for regular bail, granting bail to the petitioner.
Summary
The petitioner, Amod Paswan, was arrested in connection with a case registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., alleged to involve the assault of a suspected thief. He contended that he was falsely implicated, had a clean antecedent, and had been in custody since 20-11-2025. The petitioner’s counsel applied for regular bail, undertaking cooperation with the trial, while the Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the bail. After considering the facts, the court found no compelling reason to deny bail and granted the application. Consequently, the petitioner was released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
