BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The application for regular bail was allowed.

Summary

The petitioner, Umesh Saw, was charged under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 303(2), 352/351(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S. for allegedly assaulting a victim and causing simple injury. He had been in custody since 10‑12‑2025 and claimed innocence, clean antecedents, and willingness to cooperate with the trial. The petitioner’s counsel sought regular bail, while the Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the relief. The Court examined the facts, the nature of the offences, and the petitioner’s background. Finding no compelling reason to deny bail, the Court allowed the regular bail application, directing the petitioner to furnish a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
