Holding
The Court granted regular bail to the petitioner upon furnishing the prescribed bond and sureties.
Summary
Ramkavita Singh was arrested in connection with a case under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 after a search recovered 12.99 litres of IMFL from a goat's hide. The petitioner argued that no incriminating article was found in his possession or premises and that he was falsely implicated due to his antecedents. He had been in custody since 20 January 2026 and sought regular bail, undertaking to cooperate with the investigation. The State opposed the bail application. The Court, after hearing both sides and noting the duration of custody, ordered that the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, subject to the satisfaction of the Exclusive Special Excise Court, Motihari.
