Anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.

Summary

Satyanarayan Choudhary applied for anticipatory bail fearing arrest in a case registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 arising from a civil land dispute. The prosecution alleged that he assaulted the victim, while the petitioner claimed innocence, stating that his brother Ganesh Choudhary was the principal accused. The State opposed the bail application. The court examined the facts and the applicability of Section 482(2) of the BNSS and granted anticipatory bail, imposing a bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties and other conditions. The order directs that if arrested or surrendered within four weeks, the petitioner be released on bail.
