Summary

Sunil Ram was arrested in connection with a case registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly assaulting a victim. He has been in custody since 22 January 2026 and filed a bail application asserting his innocence and that the injury caused was simple. The petitioner was ordered to be released on a bail bond of Rs 10,000 with two sureties, subject to the usual conditions, and the order was confined to the bail matter alone.
