The application for regular bail is rejected.

Summary

The petitioner, Bhola Yadav, applied for regular bail in a case registered under Section 309(6) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, alleging involvement in the looting of Rs.21,500. The prosecution’s case is based on a self‑inculpatory statement of co‑accused Prabhat Yadav, linking the petitioner to the crime. The petitioner has been in custody since 18‑11‑2025 and has five prior criminal convictions. The court considered the seriousness of the allegation and the petitioner’s antecedents and found them sufficient to deny bail. Consequently, the application for regular bail was rejected, with the court noting that its observations were prima facie and not to prejudice the trial.
