The court granted regular bail to the petitioner.
Summary
The petitioner, Subhash Kumar, applied for regular bail in a case registered under Sections 69 and 85 of the B.N.S and Sections 3 and 4 of the D.P. Act. He had been in custody since 22 December 2025 and claimed to have no prior criminal record. The petitioner argued that the complainant admitted a consensual relationship and that the allegations were false, supporting his claim with photographs of injuries he sustained. The State opposed the bail. Considering the petitioner’s clean antecedent, the circumstances of the case, and the statements made, the court inclined to release him on bail, directing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000 with two sureties of equal amount.
