The Court denied bail to the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Sallauddin Ansari, applied for regular bail in a case (PS Case No. 361/2024) involving offences under Section 103(1) of the B.N.S., where an unknown dead body was identified as his son. The prosecution alleged that the petitioner, being in a relationship with the deceased's wife, hired criminals to murder the deceased. The petitioner contended that he was falsely implicated, has no prior criminal record, and has been in custody since 17‑12‑2025, undertaking to cooperate with the trial. The State opposed bail on the grounds of the alleged motive and involvement in the murder. The Court, after considering the submissions, was not inclined to grant bail and dismissed the application.
