Decided

BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The court granted regular bail to the petitioner subject to bond and attendance conditions.

Summary

Manish Kumar was arrested in connection with a murder case registered under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the Bihar Narcotic Substances Act, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The prosecution alleged that he, along with others, killed the son of an informant, while the petitioner claimed he was falsely implicated and not named in the victim's statement. He had been in custody since 25 June 2025 and sought regular bail. The learned counsel for the State opposed bail, but the court, after considering the facts, the period of custody, and the lack of direct incriminating evidence, allowed the bail application. The court ordered bail on a bond of Rs. 10,000 with two sureties and imposed conditions of regular attendance at the police station.
