The court extended the time for surrender and furnishing bail bonds by two weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Pankaj Kumar, filed a modification application seeking an extension of time to surrender and furnish bail bonds as ordered on 09-10-2025. He argued that he had to travel out of state for livelihood and his counsel could not inform him of the bail order in time. The court considered the reasons presented in the petition. It held that the petitioner’s circumstances justified a brief extension. Consequently, the court extended the surrender and bail bond filing period by two weeks from the date of the order and disposed of the modification application.
