The court allowed the petition for anticipatory bail, directing release on bail bond subject to Section 482(2) conditions.
Summary
The petitioner, Ruba Devi, sought anticipatory bail after the police registered a case (PS No. 535 of 2025) alleging she assaulted an informant, invoking Sections 109(1), 115(2), 126(2), 303(2), 352, 191(2) and 329(3) of the B.N.S. The prosecution alleged head injuries, while the petitioner claimed innocence, citing simple injuries and a clean record. The State opposed the bail. Considering the minor nature of the alleged injuries and the petitioner's clean antecedents, the court granted anticipatory bail, directing that if arrested within eight weeks she be released on a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, subject to conditions under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.
