The Court held that the time granted to the petitioner for surrender and furnishing bail bonds be extended by four weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Soni Kumar, filed an application seeking modification of the order dated 18‑12‑2025 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 85444 of 2025, which had granted him a specific period to surrender and furnish bail bonds. The petitioner argued that additional time was required. The Court examined the request and, without detailed elaboration, found no impediment to extending the period. Accordingly, the Court allowed the modification, extending the time for surrender and furnishing bail bonds by four weeks from the date of the order. The order thus modifies the earlier direction and provides the petitioner with the additional period.
