The anticipatory bail petition was withdrawn, and the court directed that if the petitioners surrender within four weeks and apply for regular bail, the trial court shall consider the application on the same day.

Summary

The petitioners, Rabin Yadav and Radhe Yadav, filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Patna High Court. After hearing, they sought permission to withdraw that petition and instead surrender before the trial court, requesting regular bail on the same day. The court allowed the withdrawal of the anticipatory bail petition and granted them liberty to surrender within four weeks and apply for regular bail. It directed that the trial court consider the regular bail application on the day of surrender without being bound by the High Court's order. Consequently, the anticipatory bail petition was disposed of, and a procedural direction for regular bail was issued.
