The court allowed the modification, permitting deposit of maintenance in the District Court’s Nazarat and extending the bail‑bond surrender period by two weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Himanshu Kumar, filed a modification application on 10-04-2026 seeking changes to the order dated 04-02-2026 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 89328 of 2025, which pertained to the payment of maintenance to his wife, Priya Kumari. The petitioner requested that the maintenance amount be deposited in the Nazarat of the District Court, allowing the wife to withdraw it and subsequently provide her bank details for direct payments. The court also considered the petitioner’s request for a two‑week extension to surrender his bail bonds. After hearing the parties, the court found the reasons for modification satisfactory. Consequently, the court allowed the modification, authorising the deposit procedure and extending the bail‑bond surrender period.
