Holding

The court granted bail to the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Raj Kumar Kewat, was arrested in connection with a case registered under multiple sections of the BNS for allegedly assaulting a victim. He had been in custody since 12 October 2025. The petitioner’s counsel argued that the case stemmed from a personal dispute with the informant and that the charges were false and vague. The court examined the bail application, noting the petitioner’s claim of false implication and the nature of the alleged offences. Considering the facts, the court allowed the bail application. The petitioner was ordered to be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties, subject to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya.
