The order dated 16.07.2025 is to be read with the corrected paragraph numbering and deletion of the phrase ‘of cognizance’ as directed.

Summary

The petitioner, Renu Kumari, filed a petition seeking correction of typographical errors in an order dated 16 July 2025 passed by the Patna High Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No.48571 of 2024. The court identified misnumbered paragraphs on page 6 and an erroneous insertion of the words “of cognizance” on page 5. It directed that paragraph 9 be read as paragraph 10, paragraph 10 as 11, and paragraph 11 as 12, and that the phrase “of cognizance” be deleted, reading the line as “impugned order dated 26.04.2024”. Accordingly, the order of 16 July 2025 was to be treated as corrected and read in Criminal Miscellaneous No.25839 of 2026. The court’s reasoning was purely procedural, aimed at rectifying clerical mistakes without affecting the substantive content. The corrected order was thereby affirmed.
