The court denied regular bail to the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Anuj Kumar, was arrested in connection with a case registered under multiple sections of the BNS and Section 27 of the Arms Act, alleged to have shot the victim. He has been in custody since 17 November 2025 and claims to have a clean antecedent. He applied for regular bail, arguing that the charges do not warrant continued detention. The court examined the seriousness of the allegations, the injury inflicted on the victim, and the nature of the offences.
