The bail application is dismissed as withdrawn.
Summary
The petitioner, Prakash Ram, filed a bail application in the High Court of Patna after being charged in a criminal case (PS Case No. 290 of 2023). The trial court had already concluded the trial (Str. No. 83 of 2024) and delivered its judgment on 28‑02‑2025. Counsel for the petitioner argued that the bail application had become infructuous and sought permission to withdraw it. The court considered whether the application could be withdrawn after the final judgment. Finding no merit in continuing the application, the court allowed the withdrawal and dismissed the bail application as withdrawn. The matter was disposed without any order on bail.
