Decided
Disposal
BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The court allowed the regular bail application.

Summary

The petitioner, Rajniti sah, was arrested in connection with a case registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., alleged to have assaulted a victim with a brick. He applied for regular bail, claiming innocence, a clean antecedent, and that he had been in custody since 7 October 2025. The State opposed the bail, arguing the seriousness of the offences. The Court examined the facts, the nature of the charges, and the petitioner's cooperation, and found no compelling reason to deny bail. Consequently, the Court ordered his release on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
