Decided
Disposal
WITHDRAWN

Holding

The bail application was dismissed as withdrawn because it was filed prematurely.

Summary

The petitioner, Sanjiv Kumar, filed a second bail application in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 3182 of 2026 after an earlier bail plea was rejected on 14‑10‑2025. The petition was presented before the Patna High Court, where counsel for both sides were heard. The court observed that the present application was filed prematurely, given the earlier rejection and the stage of the proceedings. Consequently, the judge was not inclined to entertain the petition at this time. The application was therefore dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty granted to the petitioner to file a fresh bail petition at an appropriate later stage.
