Holding
The bail application was dismissed due to the petitioner’s non‑appearance and failure to prosecute the application.
Summary
Sahid Khan filed a bail application in a criminal miscellaneous case arising from PS case No.228/2023. The court had earlier ordered compliance on 08‑08‑2025, which the petitioner failed to meet, and subsequently granted time to file a supplementary affidavit on 12‑12‑2025. The petitioner did not appear for the hearing on 16‑01‑2026 and indicated no intention to pursue the bail relief. The learned APP for the State was present. Considering the petitioner’s non‑appearance and lack of prosecution, the court dismissed the bail application. The order was pronounced by Justice Dr. Anshuman.
