BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The Court allowed the regular bail application.

Summary

The petitioner, Dharamveer Yadav, was arrested in connection with a murder case (PS Case No. 714 of 2025) and charged under Sections 103, 238 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. He claimed innocence, stating that the allegations against him were general and omnibus, and that he had been in custody since 17 February 2026. The State opposed his request for regular bail. The High Court, after considering the circumstances and the nature of the allegations, allowed the bail application, directing the petitioner to furnish a bail bond of Rs. 10,000 with two sureties of the same amount. The Court clarified that its observations were prima facie and not a determination on the merits of the case.
