Summary
Sudhir Singh, a resident of Lodipur in Aurangabad district, filed a criminal miscellaneous petition (No.4106 of 2026) before the Patna High Court challenging an order in FIR No.444 of 2025. The petitioner, through counsel Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, sought permission to withdraw the petition and requested liberty to file a fresh application. The State, represented by APP Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, opposed the withdrawal. After hearing arguments, the court considered whether the petitioner could be allowed to withdraw the petition and be granted liberty to re‑file. The court granted the request, permitting the withdrawal and liberty to file a fresh application. Consequently, the petition was dismissed as withdrawn and the court directed the office to provide certified copies of the impugned order and FIR to the petitioner’s counsel.
