The application for quashing the order is dismissed as withdrawn.

Summary

Brijendra Choudhary filed an application seeking to quash an order dated 06‑10‑2020 in which a Special Judge had taken cognizance of offences under Sections 302, 201, 376, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act, despite a contrary police report. The petitioner argued that the judge erred in proceeding. During hearing, the petitioner’s counsel withdrew the application, seeking liberty to raise the grounds later. The Court allowed the withdrawal and dismissed the application as withdrawn. The order also directed that a copy be sent to the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Katihar for compliance.
