Anticipatory bail was denied.
Summary
The petitioner, Lav Kush Kumar, sought anticipatory bail fearing arrest in connection with a case registered under Sections 120(B), 302 and 201 of the IPC. Although his name was not mentioned in the FIR, the allegations suggested his involvement with the deceased and the crime. The court examined the seriousness of the charges, including conspiracy to commit murder and the murder itself. Considering the gravity of the offences and the lack of sufficient justification for bail, the court declined to grant anticipatory bail. The petitioner was ordered to surrender within four weeks and apply for regular bail, failing which the police were directed to arrest him.
