Holding
The bail petition stands disposed as the underlying Sessions case was acquitted.
Summary
The petitioner, Bittu Yadav, filed a third bail application before the Patna High Court in connection with Sessions Case No. 67 of 2021 arising from PS Murliganj. The Sessions Court had already disposed of that case on 9 April 2025, acquitting the accused. No counsel appeared on behalf of the petitioner during the hearing. The Court observed that, with the substantive criminal proceeding terminated by acquittal, there was no longer any ground to entertain a bail petition. Accordingly, the bail petition was held to stand disposed. The order was delivered by Justice Arun Kumar Jha.

CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA
ORAL ORDER
3 10-04-2026 On call, none appears for the petitioner.
2. This is the third attempt of the petitioner to seek
bail from this Court in connection with Sessions Case No. 67 of
2021, arising out of Murliganj P.S. Case No. 203 of 2020.
3. From the website of the District Court, Madhepura,
it appears Sessions Case No. 67 of 2021 has been disposed of on
09.04.2025 with acquittal of the accused.
4. It seems, perhaps, for this reason, there is no
representation on behalf of the petitioner and, hence the petition
stands disposed of in the light of disposal of Sessions Case No.
67 of 2021.
