The court allowed the modification, extending the surrender and bail‑bond period by four weeks while keeping the other conditions unchanged.

Summary

Indal Paswan was granted anticipatory bail on 10 December 2025 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 82833. He filed a modification application on 20 January 2026 seeking an extension of the time allowed for surrendering to the court and furnishing bail bonds for an additional four weeks. The petitioner argued that the original time limit was insufficient for compliance. The court examined the request and found no legal impediment to modifying the bail conditions. Accordingly, the court extended the surrender and bail‑bond period by four weeks from the date of the order. All other conditions of the original anticipatory bail order were left unchanged.
