Summary

The petitioner, Chandan Kumar, sought confirmation of the provisional bail granted to him in an earlier criminal miscellaneous petition. The court noted an earlier order directing the petitioner’s brother, Krishna Kumar, to undertake payment of Rs. 14,00,000, of which Rs. 3,00,000 had already been paid to the complainant. Considering that the payment condition was being complied with, the court confirmed the provisional bail with the same bailor and bond. No further objections were raised by the State. Consequently, the petition was disposed of.
