The court allowed the application and extended the surrender period by four weeks.

Summary

The petitioners Vidyanand, Anmol and Santosh Sah were granted anticipatory bail by the Patna High Court in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 2432 of 2025, with a direction to surrender within four weeks to furnish bail bonds. They filed an application seeking modification of that order, contending that they reside in Gujarat and were unaware of the bail bond requirement, thus unable to surrender in time. The court considered the petitioners' circumstances and allowed the application. It extended the period for surrender and furnishing bail bonds by an additional four weeks from the date of the order. Consequently, the original order dated 25.11.2025 was modified to reflect the extended deadline.
