DISMISSED

Holding

The application for regular bail was rejected.

Summary

The petitioner, Dilo Yadav, was arrested in connection with a murder case (PS Larjhaghat Case No. 37 of 2024) under Sections 80(2), 238 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. He alleged that he is innocent and sought regular bail, having been in custody since 19 March 2025. The State opposed the bail, contending that the petitioner, as the husband of the deceased, was involved in the killing along with co‑accused. The Court examined the submissions and the case records, and, considering the seriousness of the allegations, decided not to grant bail. Consequently, the petition for regular bail was rejected.
