Patna High Court

Arvind Ray @ Arvind Prasad Yadav @ Pappu RaiversusThe State of Bihar

Decided
Disposal
WITHDRAWN

Holding

The court held that the petitioner is entitled to withdraw the application, and therefore the application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Summary

The petitioner, Arvind Ray, filed a criminal miscellaneous application seeking anticipatory bail. He argued that a separate application (Criminal Miscellaneous No. 91 of 2025) had already been granted a stay on 21 January 2026. The opposite party contended that other accused whose anticipatory bail applications were rejected should not influence the petitioner’s relief. The petitioner then requested permission to withdraw the present application. The court, after hearing counsel, granted permission to withdraw, and consequently dismissed the application as withdrawn.
