Ram Vinod SinghversusThe State Of Bihar

Decided
Disposal
DISPOSED

Holding

The application for cancellation of bail was dismissed, and the petitioner was permitted to withdraw it and approach the appropriate court for relief.

Summary

The petitioner, Ram Vinod Singh, filed an application seeking cancellation of the bail that had been granted to him, alleging that the opposite party No.2, Rekha Devi, was threatening witnesses. The petitioner later requested to withdraw this application and instead approach the court that originally granted bail for any remedy concerning alleged witness intimidation. The court noted that the petitioner's claim of witness threat was not substantiated and was made only orally during the hearing. Consequently, the court found no sufficient ground to entertain the cancellation of bail at this stage. The application was therefore disposed of, with the court granting the petitioner liberty to approach the appropriate court for redress. No statutory provisions or precedents were cited in the order.

                                 2. After some arguments, learned counsel for the

petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present application for

cancellation of bail in order to seek his remedy before the

that as of now the petition filed for cancellation does not bear

submission has been made orally by the learned counsel for the

                   petitioner.
