The provisional bail granted on 30.08.2023 is confirmed.

Summary

Ganesh Singh, also known as Rajesh Singh Bhokta, filed a petition seeking confirmation of the provisional bail granted to him on 30 August 2023. The petitioner argued that the allegations against him were based merely on secret information regarding alleged opium cultivation in forest land, supplied by a Forest Guard. The court examined the submissions and found that the suspicion was not sufficient to overturn the bail. Consequently, the court confirmed the provisional bail with the same bailor and bonds. The petition was thereafter disposed.
