Decided

BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The court granted regular bail to the petitioner on condition of a bail bond and two sureties.

Summary

The petitioner, Aman Kumar, was arrested in connection with a case registered under sections 25(1‑B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act after a country‑made pistol was recovered from his house. He has been in custody since 25 October 2025 and a charge‑sheet has been filed. The petitioner contended that no incriminating article was found in his possession and that he was falsely implicated. The court examined the allegations in the FIR, the fact that the charge‑sheet was already filed, and the length of his custody. It ordered that the petitioner be released on regular bail upon furnishing a bail bond of Rs 10,000 with two sureties of the same amount, to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
