Holding
The application was dismissed as infructuous because the petitioner had already been acquitted.
Summary
The petitioner, Nisha Parween, filed an application before the Patna High Court seeking relief in connection with Sadar Police Station Case No. 775 of 2023. The Court ordered a status report, which revealed that a judgment had been pronounced on 29 November 2025, acquitting both Nisha Parween and co‑accused Baby Khatoon of all charges. On this basis, the Court examined whether the pending application remained viable. It held that, since the substantive criminal case had concluded with an acquittal, the application had become moot. Consequently, the Court dismissed the application as infructuous.
