The Court modified condition 8(ii) to require the petitioner’s monthly attendance at Warisaliganj Police Station, Nawada.

Summary

The petitioner, Gopal Kumar, filed an application seeking modification of a bail condition imposed by this Court on 10 April 2024 in connection with Cyber P.S. Case No. 65 of 2023. The specific condition (8(ii)) required the petitioner to appear once a month at Police Station Phase‑II, Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida. The petitioner argued that attending the Noida police station was impractical and requested that the attendance be shifted to the Warisaliganj Police Station in Nawada district. The Court considered the petitioner's request and the necessity of ensuring compliance with bail conditions while not imposing undue hardship. Accordingly, the Court modified condition 8(ii), directing the petitioner to mark his attendance at Warisaliganj Police Station, with default leading to cancellation of the bail bond.
