BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The Court granted regular bail to the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Deepak Kumar, was arrested in connection with alleged forgery of domicile and Aadhaar certificates, charged under sections 318(4), 337, 338, 336(3) and 340(2) of the BNS. He applied for regular bail, asserting his innocence and lack of prior criminal record, while noting that three co‑accused had already been released on bail. The State opposed the bail, arguing the seriousness of the offences. The Court examined the facts, the bail granted to co‑accused, and the petitioner's clean antecedents, and decided to grant regular bail. He was ordered to be released on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties of the same amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai.

three persons were apprehended and one person managed to

escape. It is further submitted that the three apprehended

persons have been granted bail, out of which, two were granted

bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.09.2025

judicial custody since 02.12.2025 having no criminal

                      antecedent.
