Holding

The Court granted bail to the petitioner subject to a cash bond, sureties and conditions.

Summary

Chandan Kumar applied for bail in a case registered as Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 269 of 2025 for alleged offences under Section 140(2) of the B.N.S. The prosecution alleged that co‑accused Satish Kumar abducted the husband of an informant and that the petitioner aided the abduction. The petitioner contended that he had no direct involvement, possessed a clean antecedent, and had been in custody since 27‑06‑2025, with the charge‑sheet already filed. The State opposed the bail application. The Court, considering the nature of the allegation, the petitioner’s clean record, the filing of the charge‑sheet, and the period of custody, ordered his release on bail with a bond of Rs.10,000 and two sureties, subject to conditions under Section 480(3) of the B.N.S.S. and additional personal conditions. The bail order was pronounced by Justice Arun Kumar Jha.

Issues considered

FIR it is clear that the husband of the informant was on friendly

There is no allegation against the petitioner except saying that

he helped co-accused Satish Kumar in abducting the husband of

antecedent and he is in custody since 27.06.2025. The charge

          sheet has been submitted.
