The court confirmed the anticipatory bail and extended the surrender period by four weeks.
Summary
Petitioner Rajesh Kumar filed an application seeking modification of the anticipatory bail order dated 11‑08‑2025 to extend the surrender period. The petitioner claimed that the full amount agreed in a compromise petition had been paid to the opposite party, Nitu Kumari, who consented to the extension. Both parties agreed that there was no objection to granting the privilege of anticipatory bail. Considering the changed circumstances and the consent of the opposite party, the court confirmed the earlier anticipatory bail and extended the surrender period by four weeks from the receipt of the order. The application was consequently disposed of.
