The application for regular bail was dismissed.
Summary
The petitioner, Uday Singh, was charged in Rangra P.S. Case No. 188 of 2025 for offences under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., alleged to have participated in the killing of Chhotu Razak alongside co‑accused Kailash Razak. The petitioner claimed innocence, asserting that only Kailash Razak inflicted the fatal wound and that he merely held the victim's legs. The State opposed the bail application, emphasizing the heinous nature of the crime and the petitioner’s alleged role. The Court, after hearing both sides, found the crime serious and the petitioner’s involvement material, and consequently dismissed the regular bail application. The order was pronounced by Justice Sandeep Kumar.
