DISMISSED

Holding

The court denied regular bail to the petitioners, holding that the trial is on the verge of conclusion.

Summary

The petitioners, Md. Tajuddin and Md. Kafil Ahmad, were charged under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code for offences including murder, attempt to murder, and robbery. They filed a third regular bail application after two earlier applications were rejected. The informant submitted that the evidentiary stage of the trial was closed and the trial was nearing its conclusion. The Patna High Court, noting that the trial was on the verge of completion, rejected the bail application. The court also directed the trial court to expedite the remaining proceedings without unnecessary adjournments.
