Holding

The court held that the condition requiring both bailors to be blood relatives may be modified to require only one bailor to be a blood relative.

Summary

Lachhi Ram was granted bail on 15-10-2025 with the condition that both bailors be his blood relatives. He later applied for modification, stating that his only blood relative, his wife, had already signed the bail affidavit and no other blood relative was available. The petitioner argued that the requirement for two blood‑relative bailors was impracticable. The court examined the bail provisions and the petitioner’s circumstances. Finding no legal impediment to relax the condition, the court allowed the modification. Consequently, the bail order was altered to require only one bailor to be a blood relative.
