BAIL GRANTED

Holding

The court granted bail to the petitioners.

Summary

Ram Pravesh Yadav and Santosh Yadav were arrested in connection with a case registered under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including assault, grievous hurt, robbery, attempt to murder, and criminal intimidation. The petitioners contended that they were falsely implicated, that the prosecution was malafide, and that the parties were agnates. They had been in custody since 31 July 2025 and applied for bail. The learned counsel argued innocence and lack of prima facie evidence. The High Court, after hearing the parties, allowed the bail application, directing release on a bond of Rs.10,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
